Coblaco recently completed our scope of work on the South Adams County Pellet Softening Improvements project. Coblaco began this work in the summer of 2019 and continued applying protective and architectural coatings as the General Contractor constructed two new process buildings. Coblaco’s work included:

-          Pipe coating and identification to over 12,000 square feet of process piping

-          Interior water repellant to over 17,000 square feet of interior CMU

-          Application of over 700 gallons of exterior moisture vapor barrier

-          Painting 25 new man doors

-          Application of 30,000 square feet of concrete floor sealer

-          Over 2,400 man-hours of labor

Twenty-nine of the thirty-one applicators and supervisors currently at Coblaco were onsite at some point throughout the 2 years of production. This was great team work!

The piping in the filter building required work off of ladders, lifts and scaffolding, as well as maneuvering through the pipe and walkway support structures.

In addition to exterior coating of piping, Coblaco assisted with correcting manufacturer defects on the interior of the pellet reactors.
