Coblaco is a second-generation owned, Colorado-based company that consistently delivers industry-leading solutions in surface preparation, media blasting, and industrial coating services for over 43 years.  

Coblaco partners with the top coating manufacturers in the world, and is certified in the latest coating technologies. Coblaco specializes in a wide range of capabilities completing complex and/or challenging coating and pipeline projects.

The Coblaco Headquarters and Production Facility are located in Henderson, Colorado. Our Production Facility spans over 40 acres and includes more than 30,000 square feet of climate-controlled coating areas – enabling production throughout the year regardless of weather and environmental conditions.

The Production Facility complements Coblaco’s Field Services by providing a unique solution to customers, offering both field-based, on-location service, as well as a secure facility where assets and materials can be shipped year around – simplifying several logistical challenges experienced on complex projects.

Coblaco is committed to meet the highest standards in the industrial coatings industry.  As a company, we proudly maintain multiple **AMPP Certifications (QP 1 and QP 2 Certifications).

The QP 1 certification is a nationally recognized program that evaluates the practices of industrial painting contractors in key areas of business. These standards are considered the MINIMUM level of service and quality for today's coatings industry. The complex nature of coating systems and the specific surface preparations required for these systems have made the QP 1 guidelines vital to the longevity of applied protective coatings.

The QP 2 program recognizes contractors who possess specialized skills, knowledge, policies and practices that make them experts in the removal and disposal of hazardous metals and lead-based coatings.

Coblaco personnel are also Members and Certificate holders with NACE - National Association of Coating Engineers, having (17) seventeen Coblaco employees who are NACE CIP certified, (6) six of whom are CIP Level III certified.

A safe working culture is of utmost importance for Coblaco.  Coblaco is a two-time recipient of the Circle of Safety designation through Pinnacol Insurance, an award earned by a small number of qualifying companies ranked among the top of the 40,000 Pinnacol customers.
